Dry Bulk Commodities

StarTrans, Inc. hauls dry bulk products in pneumatic tanks. Products transported includes Cement, Flyash, Lime (both hydrate and pebble), calcium carbonate, and kiln byproducts. Major shippers include Lafarge Cement, Holcim, Cemex, Buzzi Unimen, and Boral Materials for cement and flyash; for lime products, Global Stone, Carmeuse Lime, ChemLime, Cheney Lime, Southern Lime, and Vinca Services.

Flatbed Commodities

StarTrans, Inc. hauls flatbed commodities including bag cement and lime, roofing shingles, steel, lumber, and any product that can be safely secured on a flatbed trailer. 48’ spread axle flatbeds are used predominantly in this application.
